How to make Hand made Felt Shoes

What do you think about felt shoes guys? It's so cute ayt? hahaha I know I know I know...and I am planning to practice creating one.. maybe for babies, but then off course I'll start creating one for myself lol!

I got some helpfull steps on how to create one beautiful hand made felt shoes:)

1.Place one foot on a piece of paper. Loosely trace around the outline of your foot, about 1/2 inch away from the edge of your foot (or a bit more if you want the shoes roomier).

2.Cut out this outline to make a pattern for the sole of the felt shoe

3.Pin the sole pattern to the felt, and cut around it. Cut a second felt sole the same way. Making a true pattern for your feet is possible, but a bit tricky (maths! eek!). For beginners I would suggest getting a pair of shoes you like the shape/fit of, which may be past their best and cutting these up to makie a pattern from.

4.Place the top 1/2 to 2/3 of the sole pattern on a piece of paper. Draw a curved line about 1 1/2 inches larger than the sole pattern, making a U shape. Cut along the line to make a pattern for the top of the felt shoe.

5.Pin the top pattern to the felt and cut around it. Cut a second felt top the same way.

6.Line up the center of the curved edge of one top with the center of the toe end of one sole. Pin the entire curved edge of the top to the sole.

7.Sew the curved edge of the top to the sole using a whipstitch.

8.Make a back for the shoe (optional) by cutting a strip of felt that’s about 2 to 3 inches high and long enough to wrap around the back of the shoe, plus 1/2 inch.

9.Tuck the ends of the strip under the edge of the shoe top, overlapping them about 1/4 inch. Pin the strip in place. Whipstitch the bottom of the strip to the sole, and whipstitch the overlapping ends to the shoe top.

10.Repeat steps 5 through 8 to make the other felt shoe.

4.1/4 Yard Thick Felt
5.Matching thread
6.Scissors
7.Straight Pins
8.Hand Sewing Needle

SMASHING PUMPKINS LIVE in MANILA!

hello fireness!!

YES! You read the title right.. Smashing Pumpkins are going to smash Manila with their music LIVE at Araneta!!

Some must be wonderin why on Earth I have to include them on my blog, well people change you know. hahaha! honestly, I don't know any of their songs before like I am not interested with any of those but because my boyfriend loves to listen to their music I had to listen to them as well. (para lang di ako maOP).

 For now, we have Billy Corgan, that’s for sure, as the last man standing in the pit of rats in a cage while the other three are worthy of their contribution being in the game since 2009.For someone stuck in the 90′s, it is a dead man’s wish to see the original line-up on the stage again ( like my boyfriend). I certainly do not know how to feel on this but still seeing the name next to Live in Manila is somehow a good thing.
So it happens, Billy Corgan  Jeff Schroeder, Mike Byrnen and Nicole Fiorentino, the new Smashing Pumpkins are coming to Philippine shores. We can expect the Rotten Apples: Greatest Hits be played or get Zeitgeist onward. For what it’s worth, they are coming in the wake of promoting the latest record Oceania. Dubbed as Smashing Pumpkins Oceania Global Tour, the concert will be on August 7, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. 

So, we both are planning to watch the concert! and I am so excited! Excited because I will be able to watch them live nad offcourse another time of us together out of town yehey!!

FRIENDS

Throughout life you will meet people who are unlike any other. These people are the one you could forever talk to. They understand you in a way that no one else does or even could. This person is your soul mate, your best friend. Don't ever let them go, for they're your guardian angel sent from heaven above. We call them Friends :)

Friends. A simple word isn't it? It's uttered everyday to almost every person imaginable. Who are your friends? I used to think that friends were the people that you could laugh and talk to. Now I know that friends aren't that, they're the people that touch your hearts.

You could spend hours with them doing nothing at all and it can be the best time of your life, just because it was with them. They're the people you can share your secrets with, cry with, laugh with, and just have fun with. They don't judge you or make you change.

They accept you exactly as you are. They look at you and they see a great person, one they love spending time with.

You all share something in common and are tied together by memories, tears, laughs, and smiles. You're tied together by love for the other. Friendship is the strangest but greatest thin in the world. I find my time with my friends, the best times of my life. My friends are my heart, my soul, my fun, my laughter, tears, love and my life.

Both old and new... Are the most important people to me in the world. AND... without them, I wouldn't be who I am today. So this is a thank you to all of my friends... For always being there. And even if we're not on good terms or we have lost touch... I still care for you... Always and forever love all you guys.

HANDURAW PIZZA

Time is never wasted when youre wasted all the time.!

So true lol. Ok so I've been drinking for two days now, it started last Saturday night, we went out to see some gigs at D' bar ( it's my boyfriends favorite place and to be honest I'm learning to love the place too).

We went there around 9pm, everybody looks so happy, drunk, stoned and wasted but the party just started so we gotta find some place to sit. The party lasted till 2óclock Am for some alcoholic ban here in Davao. Party should end at 2óclock, no beer and no SMOKE!  But then off course we didnt go home at 2óclock harhar w estayed there and still party till dawn.

Well we thought the party will end by then however, there was a blast when two beautiful ladies did some BS party on their own. Have you seen Bradley and Pacqiao's fight yesterday? We saw the undercard game at 4am!! and that's at Durian Bar lol.! 

(I don’t smoke pot. But I sometimes hang around people who do. hahaha yeah I do.  They always have great snack ideas, some smart ass people and talented one and if you are low on cash, it is a good group to hang out with . If all of your friends are stoned, just start talking about cheese pizza, or graham crackers with peanut butter. You’ll be well on your way to snack heaven in no time at all! Don’t forget, they all love dessert as well! such a parasite! I was just kidding!)

We woke up at 1:26PM Sunday after the party, hungry!! and decided to have some pizza at Handuraw Pizza that is near Sampaguita in Quirino St. It was such a fun experience.

he was so happy! He got connected to WIFI! reading statuses reagrading Pacquiao's game!

I just love the way he smile:)

and me offcourse while waiting for the PIZZA!

he got angry at me beacuse I keep on taking pictures and he's afraid hell eat all those pizzas! haha

We met some friends from Manila and had a great time.

Since Jessie just came from Manil he wants to party at his favorite resto bar! ZEGUDO! and it's the first time we went out drinking with Beyb too. So happy , I was not drunk though I only had 2 shots of beer and thats it! I enjoyed the night

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO- HOO what a ride!"

I am sailing!

Oh yes! I am going sail! haha..

Alas! the long journey has ended.(I wished it really has ended here). I was so blessed that I was able to find a job, something I love and something exciting! I am  not saying that I hate my past jobs it just that this job is far more exciting!! hahaha

I am now a part of Choice Air which books flights for clients with Royal Caribbean.

Its has been two weeks since I started my training with five other senior consultants. It is my first job to work as with a travel account and thats the main reason why I said this is a lot more excitin! Aside from the fact that it would be my first time to ahndle a travel account, I just feel so proud being part of the Royal Caribbean.

You guys wanna know why?
